Our Company and Philosophy
We are a small company of individuals dedicated to customer satisfaction and interaction. We pride ourselves on our ability to communicate well with a customer to translate all the technical PC terminology into easily understandable information allowing the customer to make an informed decision. We strive to make your experience with us a pleasurable one and to maximize the enjoyment from your HTPC. Your experience with us will be in 3 phases: Design, Build / Configuration, and installation.
Design phase
During this phase we will closely interact with the customer to design a Home Theater PC to suit their needs and desires. We typically start with a very broad idea of a system and ask a lot of questions to narrow down what functions are most important to the customer. We will then present different pieces of hardware to the customer and explain the benefits of the hardware and how it would perform in an HTPC. As mentioned we specialize in custom HTPCs, while we like to order from our vendors; however, we do not limit ourselves to their selections and will acquire your desired hardware from whatever source is necessary. Eventually we will reach a point where the hardware is nailed down and we will then issue a quote. We have a set assembly and configuration fee, we do not mark up parts so changes to the hardware configuration are very easy to do. We will present the customer with a write up of the system, a detailed hardware list and the cost to order, assemble, configure and ship the system.
Build and Configuration Phase
During this phase we will order all parts necessary, assemble the system, configure it to your needs and then ship the system to you after thoroughly testing it. After the design phase is over and you give the go ahead we will order all parts necessary for the system. We will keep you updated on the estimated arrival time and upon arrival we will let you know when we begin the build process. At certain points of the build process we will snap a few pictures and send them to you if so desired. After the system has been built we will begin the setup and configuration, at this time we may contact you to gain any additional input we may need to set the HTPC up to create a very easy to install system.
Installation
Once the system has gone through thorough testing we will package the system along with all CD's, manuals and specific setup instructions for your unit and ship to you. We budget a set amount for shipping which can be altered if you wish a faster shipping method. We guarantee FedEx or UPS ground or equivalent as a minimum but at the time of shipping we look for quicker methods that will fall under this budget. Once the item is shipped we will provide to you a tracking number and also inquire as to what evening you plan to setup the unit. The tech who designed your unit will attempt to make himself available that evening for questions or tips on setting up the HTPC. Keep in mind most of our techs are normally at home during this time so the primary means of contact will be via email or IM's, although phone contact is often possible.
